California Bank & Trust Presents
Tenth Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival
Saturday & Sunday; September 10 and 11
12:00 noon — 5:00 pm
The 10th Annual Ghirardelli Square Chocolate Festival, benefiting Project Open Hand, will take place Saturday and Sunday, September 10 and 11, 2005, from 12:00 noon — 5:00 pm. The Chocolate Festival hosts more than 20 booths each day featuring a variety of chocolate delicacies from some of the best Bay Area restaurants and bakeries. Activities for the entire family will take place for your enjoyment throughout both days including chef demonstrations, children’s Chocoland and live music.
For over 20 years, Project Open Hand had provided meals and bags of groceries to men, women and children living with symptomatic HIV and AIDS. Project Open Hand expanded their services to provide daily congregate lunches to seniors and provide meals to people who are homebound and critically ill. Visit www.openhand.org for more information.
This is a free & public event — except for chocolate tasting. Individual tickets are $8, 2 tickets are $14 and 3 tickets are $20. Each ticket will give you 5 chocolate samples from any of the participating vendors.

Looks like the great Flickr staff will be blessing the SF Apple Store on the 2nd of August, 6–7:30pm. I’ll prolly check it out with James. Should be interesting and fun. Hope to get some Flickr schwag—maybe they have some secret stash =)
More info here.
Meanwhile, I tried RSVPing for the event using Upcoming.org. I signed up with them but haven’t gotten any confirmation email that usually takes just seconds to receive. After some testing, it looks like it might be my mail server. Oh well, I hope it doesn’t fill up.
They seem to be the talk of the town lately. If I can recall, they just moved a couple of weeks ago. Good times hopefully. Maybe they’ll even announce a “New-In-Town Fickr Party” of some sort… just maybe.
Anyways, the Apple Store is across the street (literally). Just gonna cruise on by after work. I can’t wait to meet these cool peeps.
