Here’s a handful of casual/street wear/urban culture attire vendors having Black Friday deals. Most of them are based in California. But some have their sale event extending online as well.

MasterCard “Timeline”

Nicely done.
MasterCard spot by MacLaren McCann in Toronto “cuts” through the clutter in the most literal sense of the word because of its focus on the pain, sacrifice and humanity behind every true sports icon. A hockey legend’s many surgical scars from his playing days trace a humbling “timeline” across his skin. At the end, the player simply sits in the locker room alone, a poignant image of a man who earned his accolades by paying the painful price many times and always skating back onto the ice for more. It’s Bobby Orr, but he’s never ID’d, implying that his hard-earned achievements outlive the fleeting fame. Besides, in Canada, they’ll know who he is.

Add Insult to My Injury — Bernard Pollard Fan Club T‑Shirt

As if grown men (like me) everywhere in Fantasy Football land haven’t suffered enough… Believe Merch has designed a t‑shirt commemorating Bernard Pollard’s infamous hit on Tom Brady this past Sunday. Not to mention, they were kind enough to add a small bio on him and why the tee came about:
Bernard Karmell Pollard (born December 23, 1984 in Fort Wayne, Indiana) is an American football safety for the Kansas City Chiefs in the National Football League. He was drafted in the second round of the 2006 NFL Draft. Pollard played college football at Purdue University. Pollard has been dubbed “The Bonecrusher” for his hard hits and tackles.
On September 7, 2008, Pollard was involved in a play that ended with New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady being taken off the field with a knee injury and not returning for the rest of the game. It was later revealed that Pollard’s hit on Brady most likely has ended the quarterback’s season.
The shirt is available on red or white for $19.99. You may go to their product page by clicking here.
Bastards! Good one =)
The Agony of a First Pick Going Down

There’s nothing harder and more agonizing than seeing your first pick go down, get injured and be ruled out for the season in Fantasy Football. It sucks. After picking Tom Brady as my first pick, 11th in the Draft Order out of 12 people, and getting Randy Moss in the wrap around and my second pick, I thought I got the best I can per round at the time. But alas, that’s Fantasy Football for you, nothing is certain and it can either be rewarding or painful depending on which side you are on.
So what’s next, well I will probably try to pickup Cassel like everyone and their mommas are doing. I have a bad waiver priority (10 out of 12) so I need to have a plan‑B and plan‑C just in case I don’t get that piece of the puzzle. Other than the Raider’s O‑line sucking vs. Denver’s Defense last night, JaMarcus Russell did a fairly good job for his first start of the season. However, it isn’t enough to ex me as having him as my starting QB.
Although, it is still early in the season, and I have hopes for my Fantasy Football team to still make it to playoffs. I have played with a team that was on the very bottom out of 12 teams, and still managed to place and get dough at the end. This one just sucks as its causing me at least 20pts. per week—Brady’s average projected Fantasy points.
Oh well, c’est la vie.
PS. I found out that Cassel went to Chatsworth HS, and played for the Chancellors. I guess its a sign mwahaha…
