Guess Who’s Back?

Just got back from SoCal this morning. I flew Southwest since they have a good rewards program. That, and I can fly to either Burbank and/or LAX airports near home-home.

Anyways, its been a long time since New Year’s that I’ve seen home-home. The weather was great. It was around the cool 70’s the whole weekend. Although, it was drizzling a little bit Friday morning but the clouds scattered and made room for some great sunshine.

US Air Guitar Championships

US Air Guitar

OMG?!?! That’s all I said after viewing Heather Champ’s post on the Flickr Blog about the photos of “air guitars”. Damn. Who woulda knew those late night rock-a-thon sessions can come to use.

Learn more about the US Air Guitar event over here. Rock on!

PS. Other one of those OMG-events was pointed out by a co-worker… Flip-Cup Tournament!

Its Been a Minute

Today, April 11th 2006, I have officially spent a year in the Bay Area. It has been a great learning experience, and still is. There is still a lot to learn, see and shoot. I haven’t gone home to LA since New Year’s. Everything seemed to be taken up a notch when 2006 hit.

For example, I still have to process some photos from MA’s Holiday Cruise, my family’s Christmas Dinner, TheCrew’s Tahoe Trip and other functions. My room, which was trying to keep the “minimal” look, just got dumped on by “stuff”. But alas, I made a promise to get rid/sell things for Spring Cleaning.

Anyways, besides the old news, I’d like to just greet my grandma a Happy Birthday!

Happy New Year with Sour Skittles

April’s Fools

April's Fools

Jenn and Caren after a 15-hour trek from SF to Mammoth Lakes. In those 15 hours, we’ve gone through: 4 freeways; an avalanche; 3 gas stops; 3 bags of chips; a handful of burps and a hundred of laughs. So what is up with Jenn’s sandals in a foot of fresh snow? I guess that’s what 15-hours of being in a car will do to ya =)
