Nike #SummerIsSerious Campaign

Diggin’ these campaign videos that Nike has been putting out. The headliner is Kevin Durant; with a bit of help from James Harden. Both athletes of course are stars, not only on the court but off.

I like how the play the game. They stay humble, and let their game talk for itself. Monsters.

Nike #KobeSystem VII Campaign

This campaign was ran by Nike in the first quarter of 2012 for Kobe Bryant’s shoeline, the “Kobe VII”. Can’t beat humor and mega-stars.

Update
Nike Basketball seems to have taken down the campaign videos from their YouTube channel.

KD Vs from Nike iD

I was this close “>” to getting them Air Jordan XI “Playoffs” aka. BREDs during yesterday’s release by Nike. But, no cookie for me. It would’ve been my very first Js. For real.

I never got into the AJ game as I couldn’t afford it going to school. That, and Js won’t do well in Track & Field, and Baseball. As for Basketball back in High School & College, I think the most expensive shoes I’ve worn were them CB34s haha. The price just didn’t justify what I was into during the time; or what I needed more of. A wise friend told me once, trying to put things into perspective cost-wise, “you know how many Del Taco soft tacos you can get with that?“1 =)

Keep Talking Shit

Undefeated has a history of putting out tees for the Lakers during the Playoffs. From a couple of years back, they released the “You Can’t Beat LA” tees:

You Can't BEAT LA

This year, they released a bit more of an aggressive (but hilarious) design using the same style of typography:

Of Hamsters, and Blake Griffin?

It’s not news to most that KIA has been producing awesome car commercials for the past couple of years now. They have been boosting up their marketing dollars with creativity and humor; and they have the increase in sale numbers to prove it. Whether the star of the show are characters from Yo Gabba Gabba, hamsters, or a basketball star on the rise—Blake Griffin.
