I had this growing interest lately of getting myself a bike. It’s been a minute since I’ve had one to be honest. I remember having fun w/ my generic-BMX back in the P.I. with my bowl-cut. I remember going through the streets with our generic-BMX crew and hoping over speed bumps; making ramps; and eating it hard on the pavement filled with small rocks and pebbles. We were fortunate we didn’t crack our skulls as we got mad air most of the time, only to be brought back down to Earth by the Law of Physics.
Anyways, check this video out by Rocketboom correspondent Ella Morton when she interviews Josh Hadar about his hand sculpted custom bicycles.
PS. For owners who are bike officianados, road or mountain bike? In terms of riding versatility for street, hills, dirt, etc. (I’m guessing mountain?)
After recently launching their online community, Kidrobot’s KRonikle posted that they will be releasing SDCC exclusives. There will be a release per day of the Convention from Thursday, July 23rd to Sunday, July 26th (actually, nothing official yet for Sunday).
So, if you are set to go for the sold out Comic-Con later this month, be sure to get there early and head over to the Kidrobot Booth, #4529. The SDDC exclusives are only available at the booth. You can get them signed and meet the artist(s) in person during their respective release dates.
Other than this humongous Lakers banner outside of Staples Center, there’s been a lot of exment in the air to get this year’s NBA Finals on its way. To add to it, Undefeated LA will be releasing some merch in support of the Lakers’ quest for their 15th NBA Championship. Though it sucks that the release won’t be till this upcoming Saturday, June 6th, its still in time for the second home game on Sunday, June 7th.
geekchix.org - Ivana Jurčić – Lilit » Blog Archive » A Collection of Printable Sketch Templates and Sketch Books for Wireframing2010/03/10 At the beginning of a web (or application) development project I always create the sketches first. While sketching can be done on a blank paper, it’s much better to use a sketch template. For me that is the best and most productive way to work on and improve my ideas before application development begins (and things get more complicated :-)). This way I won’t pay too much attention to some details that should be taken care of later, but stay focused on general layout and functionality.
Below you will find more than 20 resources that you can use in sketching phase of application development. If you have some additional resources to share, please leave a comment so I can add them to the list.
And, of course, don’t forget to share your wireframes on I ♥ wireframes :-)
The One Who Got Away – Pictory2010/02/18 Think about the people missing from your life, and how you feel about them. What we remember — and what we forget — may reveal more about ourselves than about them. We have photos, letters, souvenirs, and fragments of memory, but our powerful imagination takes over from there: We color in the blanks. And that’s OK. Retouching old loves is a way of understanding what we want. It helps us find our way to new ones.
It’s impossible to know whether the experiences below are about infatuation, true love, lust, or something else entirely. But we can be sure that each of these contributors learned about life and themselves in the process.
