Philippines’ Globe Mobile Network Promos

Bare neces­si­ties. If you are ever in Manila/PHL and look­ing to get a Pre­paid mobile line for emer­gency and/or to just com­mu­ni­cate around the islands, this might get you on the right track.

I did some research with Globe and their “GoSak­to” make-your-own com­bos; ~P500/month for some calls and unlim­it­ed tex­ting ain’t bad (P300 only if 1,000 of text). I’ll be able to afford more cronuts now!

Get On… Pagudpud

A day in the region of Pagud­pud. Ilo­cos Norte, Philip­pines. This place usu­al­ly has awe­some weath­er but we hap­pen to just catch a storm. Oh well, it was­n’t too bad head­ing out and doing some hikes and explo­ration by flip-flop. We went to only vis­it the North-side as we need­ed to get back down to Laoag lat­er on that day. (Feb 2013)

All shot on the GoPro HERO2 HD. Edit­ed on FCP X. My first time using it; sucks that you can’t trim the reject­ed par­tial-clips like in iMovie ’11. I might have to do the trim­ming before­hand, as unwant­ed file-space is adding up.

Feet First

This is where it all began. Brighton beach, England.

While sit­ting on Brighton beach (UK) back in 2005 with my new girl­friend Ver­i­ty I thought the view of our feet point­ing out to sea would make a nice pho­to. Ever since then we’ve con­tin­ued to doc­u­ment our trav­els in this way, result­ing in a col­lec­tion of over 100 pho­tos. In 2011 the series took a new twist with the arrival of a third set of feet – our daugh­ter Matil­da. You can already see her lit­tle feet get­ting big­ger and big­ger.
