Will it be good as the animated series? Maybe—to be the optimist, but probably not from the way some people have been leaving comments. Either way, I can’t wait to see it for its CG effects.
Seems that they are getting ready to amp up The Watchmen Movie for 2009, and have apparently added the animated series into iTunes.

For those who haven’t seen the free “webisodes” a couple of weeks back written by Joss Whedon (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Firefly, Toy Story, etc.) and features Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie MD) and Nathan Fillion (Firefly), Hulu seems to have put it up for free (vs. $3.99 from iTunes).
