I’m just excit­ed about Japan along with oth­er peeps. Less than 4 days to go. I’ve been try­ing to just be healthy this past week; not to men­tion, clean up every­thing in my room so I can pack and just go dri­ve down tomor­row for LA. That, and tie up any loose ends regard­ing projects both for work and free­lance.

Mistaken Identity

So, it was a busy Mon­day morn­ing. Lots of stuff to do and get done before I head on out for LA this upcom­ing Fri­day night. Not to men­tion, what a looong dri­ve it’ll be as I’m going with the one, the only… Ms. Jenn V. (soon to be “G”).

Mean­while Cy IMed me about some fun­ny, ran­dom thoughts. This is what ensued (I’ll hide the iden­ti­ty of the per­son being talked about till I get their (i.e. “Y”) okay haha):

Lily Allen Rocks!

I just heard from the Grapevine (actu­al­ly Khang from Vain­deer) that Lily Allen will be per­form­ing tonight in Frisco at the Pop­scene.

It’s the very first time I heard of that name, but her voice is so damn famil­iar. I know I’ve heard her music before but just haven’t put a name to the vocal­ist. Any­ways, she is dope!

She has that pop and ska influ­ence with a lit­tle bit of rebe­lious rock. The accent helps out as well as it makes her unique and adds spice to her deliv­ery. Go check her out and sup­port:

R.I.P. Cory Lidle

This was just shock­ing to see. I was out at lunch vis­it­ing Wells Far­go when CNN came on regard­ing it. At first, I thought it was just a nor­mal plane crash; after, of course, CNN stat­ing that it was­n’t a ter­ror­ist attack of any kind. Then, they updat­ed with the head­line that the plane was reg­is­tered to Cory Lidle, the NY Yan­kees pitch­er.

It’s just sad to hear that he was the pilot.
