ScrapBlog — A New Way to Blog

ScrapBlog

Just in case you haven’t heard via the web, ScrapBlog has just launch their preview-mode per se. Nick Gonzalez has written an announcement regarding the launch over at TechCrunch yesterday. He mentioned that you may go to the preview mode via http://www.scrapblog.com/preview.

I haven’t taken a detailed look at it, but from what I’ve seen, it may be successful like a catchy tune in the summer time. So yeah, take it for a spin. You can even watch Robin Good’s YouTube screencasts of ScrapBlog before hand.

All From the Same Tree

Just want to share this quote w/ everyone. I found it just browsing a minute ago…

Only when you drink from the river of silence shall you indeed sing.
And when you have reached the mountain top, then you shall begin to climb.
And when the earth shall claim your limbs, then shall you truly dance.

Should we all confess our sins to one another we would all laugh at one another for our lack of originality.
Should we all reveal our virtues we would also laugh for the same cause.

Virb.com — The MySpace Killer?

Well, what else can I say about this new site—Virb.com. Brilliant!

I was going to do a writeup about the new site that is going to be competing with the giant in online community, MySpace.com but I just found this review article by Kevin Sylvia, Virb — Advanced Social Networking.

Here’s my profile, virb.com/sherwin. Time to switch =p

Happy Thanksgiving and Damn You Amazon Customers!

Happy Turkey Day! It’s been one hectic day already. I don’t know if you have heard about Amazon.com’s new gig, Customers Vote, but I heard it first from Ryan earlier this week. He noted it because of the Xbox 360 deal for only a low-down-and-dirty $100 (core system). That’s about a $200+ saving from its MSRP.

Anyways, it was one exciting and disappointing morning at the same time. Not only was the deal advertised on Amazon.com’s homepage, but it was everywhere! I mean everywhere as in: radio, vlogs, blogs and maybe even on TV. There were only 1,000 units for the deal, and that ain’t a lot. In terms of internet-store for a deal this great, that’s less than a second or two in terms of the deal’s lifetime.

Anyways, enough of my stats talk. I guess the reason why I was so upset in not getting one (other than I can make a quick $200 or more on ebay if I sell it) is that I got a new toy. I was hoping to use the money from the Xbox to feed this new crack, or at least make it free for me so I wouldn’t feel bad about spending some money on “nonsense” items. Then again, it is from Costco.

Valleyschwag to open up shop!

In the next several days we will unveil the Valleyschwag General Store, where our customers will be able to purchase future issues of our famous schwag bags. And by popular demand, we will be offering some of our most requested schwag items for sale.

This store replaces our subscription service altogether. We will notify people by email when a new issue of Valleyschwag is available, giving them the first opportunity to place an order at the General Store…
