Have you ever been in a scenario where you were asked to describe yourself? I think in one occasion or another we’ve all been. Recently, I was asked to do this on a web-form. Mind you, it’s hard for me to do that as I have a hard time talking about myself. I guess I’m more of a less-talk-more-action type (correct me if I’m wrong of course).
Anyways, back to the web-form ordeal. I was asked to describe my “Creative Work”. I replied with the following:
Self-thought web/designer coming from a Computer Engineering background who recently discovered photography and wanting to further enhance insights and creativity by melding both Technology and Art/Design.
Did I tend to what was asked of me? I think so, but in a general sense of things.
From my mind to yours… Sometimes it helps to be “me, myself, and I.”

Hey, hey, hey. May 1st has come and gone and those who have promised themselves to Reboot were either successful, or behind. One of the sites I’m curiously awaiting to check out is Bryan Veloso’s new rendition of AvalonStar.
So what the heck am I doing this early in the morning? I can’t damn sleep, and have been trying to figure out how to organize my shiznit a bit better. I have too much stuff going on (as usual), and need to complete tasks I have set in my to-do list. But it seems that that list just keeps getting bigger and wider (in terms of those URL-bookmarks).
Anyways, just wanted to catch-up with this writing-thingy-majig. Maybe someone out there can help organize things with some cool advise and/or referral gift =)
Speaking of which, here’s some cool things that have interested me in the past couple of days:
- MacBook Pro – yeah, I’m a “switch-hitter” now
- TextMate Basic Tutorials – this will probably change my development workflow for work and on-the-side
- Compiling new “points of inspiration” from the Reboot-ed sites, new and old
- … and the list goes on–but it seems that I should be catching some Zs now as I hear some people’s alarm clock going off; at least I think I’m hearing it
From my mind to yours, keep learning.

TV
April is here. Jackie Robinson’s 60th Anniversary Tribute is being celebrated throughout the MLB, and a bunch of shows have just (re)released:
Drive might be great watch as the creator of this show is the same one that did SciFi channel’s Firefly. That, and it stars lead actor Nathan Fillion–Capt. Mal Reynolds from the Firefly series. Should be some great well spent TV time to get a break, and some Design ideas from.

Things that make you go hmmm… Why is this so true with those who are done with their school work. It’s like:
Hi Mom! Here’s my diploma. Now, it’s time to run 26 miles. See you in a bit.
But yeah, just a thought that came to me like Jerry’s epiphany. Is it this unspoken truth that everyone in their 20s do all of a sudden? It’s like the unsolved mystery of why every kid in the world with a NES knowing the trick to blow into their cartridge to make it “work”.
From my mind to yours, Hip Hop is Dead
