One day, I just woke up feeling tired. I recall that it was in the middle of the week–Wednesday, aka. Hump Day. I had to force myself just to go out of the house for work. I was so close to call in sick; call it a day, and just rest it out in bed. But alas, a luke warm shower helped me enough to get myself to go to the City and work.
As the day progressed and reached the early evening, I remembered that there was so much stuff I need to get done after work. One of them was to proceed w/ Hal Higdon’s training and SET class @ 24. Feeling so damn lazy and tired, I mustered enough determination to get myself to go over that 50/50 mark. I was stuck at the midway point for a while and was leaning to just not go; and instead, chill at home.
I then asked myself, what would Rob & Big do? And BAM! It occurred to me. They would have said: “DO WORK SON!”
So without further ado, I present to you a motivational phrase in the form of an iPhone Wallpaper.
Here’s Set #1 consisting of 16.
Not only can it be motivational but it can keep you in check and help you focus on the task at hand. Not to mention, it can help in deterring you from using your iPhone to chat, IM, play games, surf the Net, etc.
You may click here to download the pack. If you would like to download individually, or if you are on an iPhone, here are the individual links per color:
Last but not least, if you happen to be on Twitter… join the #dowork movement =)
Enjoy, and thanks!

This thing is addictive. Discovery Channel originally had this game developed to help market and drive traffic to its Future Weapons show. It was then ported over to the iPhone just a couple of days ago.
I myself downloaded it right before taking the bus home from work. I usually take a nap on the short-ride home but I just couldn’t put this down. I would definitely recommend this game as its free from the App Store. Here’s the direct link to the Cannon Challenge’s App Store product page.

The only downside to the game was probably its easy learning curve (literally). I finished it in less than an hour…

I’ll see if I can post up some tip(s)/screenshots of my strategy and technique later =)
