It’s not news to most that KIA has been pro­duc­ing awe­some car com­mer­cials for the past cou­ple of years now. They have been boost­ing up their mar­ket­ing dol­lars with cre­ativ­ity and humor; and they have the increase in sale num­bers to prove it. Whether the star of the show are char­ac­ters from Yo Gabba Gabba, ham­sters, or a bas­ket­ball star on the rise—Blake Griffin.

Apple Ads on ESPN

I saw this new Apple ad yes­ter­day on ESPN after read­ing about it from Ryan Sims. Its a cam­paign for the lat­est iPod shuf­fles.1

Apple has taken over the ESPN home­page in the past. Their ads have suc­cess­fully inter­acted with ele­ments of the page, and not to men­tion, brought the clicks in as peo­ple have been intrigued by them. I know I was, as I had to replay them more than twice.

Apple iPod Touch Ad Breaks Yahoo! Games

Check out this very cre­ative Apple iPod Touch ad which appears to be “break­ing” the Yahoo! Games homepage.

Note: The music is by The Aster­oid Galaxy Tour, titled Around The Bend.

PS. This is the sec­ond Flash ad that I can recall doing this “break” con­cept. The first one I saw to suc­cess­fully fool me to doing a WTF-moment occured this past Sep­tem­ber. It was a Nin­tendo Wii game cam­paign for Wario Land: Shake It! on Youtube.
