Ichi

Fan of foreign films? How about action, foreign films? How about of samurais? Well, if you’re familar with Zatoichi et al. then you might like “Ichi” which is based from that genre if we may call it that as there has been tons of movies based on the blind swordsman.

I was surprised to find it being streamed for free on Hulu. So here it is, Ichi.

Ichi – a beautiful, blind samurai – wanders in search of the sightless swordsman who long ago taught her to kill. Many along her solitary path are touched – some by the sound of her delicate music, others by the edge of her lethal blade.

Since everyone got creative with their own Lakers tee (Freshjive, Undefeated, etc.)… I figure might as well contribute to the fandom. Mind you, this came about at 4pm Pacific; 2-hours before tip-off of Game 6 at Staples Center (were the Lakers faced an elimination of being down, 2 to the Celtics’ 3). Anyways, the dome wanted to contribute with the rally and show some support. So here it is…

How You Like Me Now?

Always dug that KIA 2011 Sorento commercial; backed by the music “How You Like Me Now?” of The Heavy. I guess “the like” is coming from a well-picked audio piece that accentuates the character of not only the commercial, but the KIA Sorento’s playful/active and family-oriented lifestyle.

Anyways, enough reading and more watching/hearing, here’s the 30s spot.
